Prohibited Activities

You shall not use the SADAD PAYMENT SOLUTIONS service for activities that:

  1. involve the sales of products or services identified by government agencies to have a high likelihood of being fraudulent
  2. attempt to sell any products falling in the category of product prohibited for sale in Qatar under any law for the time being in force.
  3. violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation at Qatar.
  4. Ensure that the content of the Products, the text descriptions, graphics or pictures (“content”) in respect of the Catalogue regarding the Product being uploaded on the E commerce Platform and the Product packaging, shall not be obscene, libelous, defamatory or scandalous or which is capable of hurting the religious sentiments of any segment of the population or constitute an infringement of any intellectual property rights of any person or entity .
  5. You shall not use the SADAD PAYMENT SOLUTIONS service for activities that relate to transactions involving:
    1. narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety,
    2. drug paraphernalia,
    3. cigarettes,
    4. items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity,
    5. stolen goods including digital and virtual goods,
    6. the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime,
    7. items that are considered obscene,
    8. items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction
    9. certain sexually oriented materials or services,
    10. ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or
    11. certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law
  6. You shall not use the SADAD PAYMENT SOLUTIONS service for activities that : relate to transactions that
    • show the personal information of third parties in violation of applicable law,
    • support pyramid or Ponzi-schemes, matrix programs, other “get rich quick” schemes or certain multi-level marketing programs,
    • are associated with purchases of annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts funded by a credit card,
    • are for the sale of certain items before the seller has control or possession of the item,
    • are by payment processors to collect payments on behalf of merchants,
    • are associated with the sale of traveller’s checks or money orders,
    • involve currency exchanges or check cashing businesses,
    • involve certain credit repair, debt settlement services, credit transactions or insurance activities, or
    • involve offering or receiving payments for the purpose of bribery or corruption
  7. involve the sales of products or services identified by government agencies to have a high likelihood of being fraudulent
  8. Activities involving gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, fantasy sports, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not legally defined as gambling) and sweepstakes, if the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.

Activities Requiring Pre-Approval

SADAD PAYMENT SOLUTIONS requires pre-approval to accept payments for certain services mentioned below:

  1. Airlines and scheduled or non-scheduled charters/jets/air taxi operators; collecting donations as a charity or non-profit organization; dealing in jewels, precious metals and stones; acting as a money transmitter or selling stored value cards; selling stocks, bonds, securities, options, futures (forex) or an investment interest in any entity or property; or providing escrow services.
  2. Providing file sharing services or access to newsgroups; or selling alcoholic beverages, non-cigarette tobacco products, e-cigarettes or prescription drugs/devices.

Payment Declined

If you received an error that your payment was declined, we recommend reaching out to your card company or card-issuing bank. The fastest way to reach them is by calling the number on the back of your card.

Sadad Payment Solutions is unable to see the exact reason why the payment was declined. Calling the number on the back of the card should help.

Temporarily Frozen Account

If you received an email that a recent payment you made from a bank account has failed, you’ll want to login from a computer and head to www.sadad.qa  to resolve the issue. Your account will also be temporarily frozen until the funds are paid back.

Bank payments can fail for a number of reasons. While Sadad Payment Solutions doesn’t have visibility into the specific reason your payment failed, your bank should be able to tell you exactly why.

The fastest way to get your account reinstated is to use a card to pay back the amount. Paying with your bank is also an option, but keep in mind these payments can take a few days to process. In any case, once Sadad Payment Solutions receives the funds, your account will be reinstated.
